【Abstract】 Popular literature accounts for the majority of Dunhuang documents and has extensive research value, including writing containing colloquial speeches, common script and speech, and Buddhist lectures and historical stories written in a form suitable for large-scale propagation. De spite of the abundance of research achievements related to some of these topics, there remains a vast quantity of written material that has yet to be studied in depth.
