試論佛教生態觀的理論建構

【摘要】 研究佛教生態觀的理論建構具有重要的理論意義和現實意義。佛教生態觀的理論建構一方面應從自身的精神追求和生活準則出發,開出生態文化觀念的新維度;另一方面也應充分發揮大乘佛教的人間關懷精神,適應時代要求,吸取西方生態文化觀念關注現實、謀求現實解決途徑的主體精神。佛教生態觀的建構應以佛教緣起論為理論基石,包含相互關聯的兩個層面:俗諦(現實層面)和真諦(精神層面),在當前應著重關注前者。它的基本內容包括在佛教緣起論基礎上所形成的整體論、無我論、生命觀、慈悲觀、凈土觀等生態理論。

【Abstract】 Studies of the theoretical set-up of the view on ecology in Buddhism is of important theoretical and realistic significance. This theoretical set-up, on the one hand, should proceed from the spiritual pursuit and standards of life of humans themselves so as to open up a new dimension for the concepts of ecological culture, and on the other hand, give full play to the spirit of human care in Mahayana Buddhism and absorb the subjective spirit of the Western ecological cultural concepts on paying heed to reality and striving for practical route of settlement so as to meet the needs of the times. The set-up of the view on ecology in Buddhism should see the theory of Buddhism’s origin as the foundation, which contains such two dimensions as the secular meaning (dimension of reality) and true meaning (spiritual dimension). Currently, importance should be attached to the former. The basic contents of this secular meaning are made up of theories of ecology such as view of integration, of selflessness, of life, of mercifulness and of clean land.
